My Bio
I'm a 20-year-old novelist and poet, and Gothic fiction is my primary genre. My real name is Michael Day, and I've been writing since a very young age. My favorite author is Edgar Allan Poe, and my favorite musicians are Alice Cooper and Kristen Lawrence.

M. J. Nevermore is a character written to be a sort of "ghost writer". He is twisted, diabolical, and brilliant enough to spook even the most well-learned mind. He is obsessed with death, having died once himself, only to be brought back to life shortly after. His stories usually deal with insanity, human corruption, and the supernatural.

Favourite Movies
The Crow, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Batman, The Raven
Favourite Bands / Musical Artists
Nox Arcana, Midnight Syndicate, Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne, Kristen Lawrence
Favourite Books
The Crow, The Pit And The Pendulum
Favourite Writers
Edgar Allan Poe, Susan Kay, Gaston Leroux, Bram Stoker
Other Interests
Drawing, writing, listening to music, God

His head was turned away from me, but I could identify the skeletal face and pitch-black hood. My eyes opened wide, and then -- as if to make matters worse -- he looked me dead in the face. I saw it all: his face was a pale skull with no identif

-Sighs- This is disappointing... only one question? Really? I was hoping for more... oh well. ~BreTrentArt96 (https://www.deviantart.com/bretrentart96): How does one know they are insane? :iconM-J-Nevermore:: Now there's an interesting question. Unfortunately, there aren't many concrete answers to it; do you trust a psychiatrist? Or would they be more interested in profit than helping you? Should you trust yourself? Or are you not in any kind of position to do so? Ultimately, though, I'd trust the voices; if they say you're perfectly fine, then what do you have to worry about??
